Delete your account

Deleting removes everything Five Trends holds about you. It takes about fifteen seconds and does not require talking to anyone.

In the app

  1. Open Five Trends and go to the profile tab.
  2. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
  3. Confirm. That is all — there is no waiting period and no email.

What gets deleted

  • Your account and sign-in identifier.
  • Your profile: niche, archetype, target viewer, follower target, weekly capacity, and every onboarding answer including the free-text ones.
  • Every connected social account, together with its access and refresh tokens.
  • All stored post data: captions, timestamps, thumbnails and the view, like, comment, share and save counts.
  • Every analysis, verdict, driver and lesson generated for you.
  • Your daily suggestions and your entire streak history.

Deletion is immediate and permanent. There is no undo and no backup we can restore from.

Your videos are not on the list because they were never stored. Content examined during an analysis is processed for that request and discarded — there is no library of your footage on our side to delete.

What deletion does not do

  • It does not cancel your subscription. Subscriptions live with Apple. Cancel in Settings, then your name, then Subscriptions — otherwise it keeps renewing after your account is gone.
  • It does not touch your Instagram or TikTok account. Your posts and your audience are unaffected. It only removes our copy of the numbers and revokes our access.
  • It does not erase records we are legally obliged to keep, such as transaction records held for tax purposes. Those are retained in the minimum form the law requires — see retention.
  • Infrastructure logs held by our providers age out on their own rolling schedules, typically within 30 days.

Revoking access from the platform too

Deleting your account already removes our tokens, but if you want to confirm it from the other side:

  • Instagram — Settings, then Website Permissions, then Apps and Websites.
  • TikTok — Settings and privacy, then Security and permissions, then Manage app permissions.
  • Sign in with Apple — Settings, then your name, then Sign in with Apple, then Five Trends, then Stop using Apple ID.

If you cannot open the app

Email privacy@fivetrends.app from the address on your account, with the subject Delete my account. We verify the request and delete within 30 days, usually within a couple of days.
